Sanka was born in Yamanashi Pref., which has Mt.Fuji.
Mt. Fuji is known as the tallest mountain in Japan and is known around the world as the most important symbol of Japan because of its scenic appearance.
It can be seen from a distance of 300km, and has been worshipped and revered since ancient times.

Sanka is nurtured in the beautiful mountains and clear air at the foot of Mount Fuji.

Pure water from beautiful mountain

The factory of Sanka locate in the foot of the Mt.Misaka,
which is north of Mt. Fuji, and pump up the water drown
from the Mt. Misaka from 250m below.

The water is filtered through porous volcanic rock, and
contain the appropriate amount of minerals, which makes
Sanka whisky smooth and well-balanced.

The manufacturer of the “SANKA” started its business as the factory of mineral water and wine. They started whisky manufacturing from 2016, and has been providing the high quality whisky to local and world wide market. The locate of the factory is surrounded by beautiful nature and clear water and air. The water used for Sanka whisky is chosen by the professional of mineral water, and that is one of the reason we can say Sanka contain the craftmanship.

Kenji Watanabe

One of the best Japanese brewer known for everyone from 1990 to 2000 in the field. He made some winning prized wines and whiskeys in his 30 years career and has been blending whisky by use of many experienced skills he got so far. Sanka was made by his feeling each characteristics of unprocessed whisky and balanced harmonically whisky.
